Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao said on Tuesday that a large quantity of arms and ammunitions was being supplied to Sui from the long porous border with Afghanistan, which was used in recent unrest in troubled Sui area. However, he did not rule out the foreign hands in Sui unrest. He said untill now we have so far not received solid evidence showing the foreign hands in Balochistan's trouble.

Sherpao was talking to a group of journalists here on Tuesday after attending the Kashmir Highway groundbreaking ceremony.

The minister strongly condemned the Tuesday's rocket attacks in Quetta saying it could sabotage the ongoing dialogue process, which is taking place between the government and Baloch nationalists.

He directed all the provincial government, Northern Areas council and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration to take strict security measures on eve of Muharram-ul Haram. Minister asked the law enforcement agencies to further tighten security of religious leaders and worship places to avert any untoward incident during the holy month.
